Privacy policy
This site is built to need as little of your data as possible. Here is what that means in practice.
What we collect
CompaniesRanked has no user accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment system. The company search runs in your browser; your queries are not sent to us.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) for security and operational purposes, under its own retention policy. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Measurement
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless and builds no profile: no cookie is set, no advertising identifier is used, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
What we see is aggregate — how many times a page was opened, from which country, on what kind of device. We cannot single out a visitor from it, and we do not try to.
Cookies
The site itself does not set cookies; the measurement described above is cookieless. Third-party advertising, where it is displayed, may set cookies or use similar identifiers; see the next section.
Advertising
Where advertising is displayed, it is served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before such identifiers are used, and you can withdraw it at any time.
You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com and from other networks via their own tools.

Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you beyond hosting logs, there is normally nothing for us to correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to the address on the contact page and we will respond.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the site's data practices change — for example when advertising goes live. The date of the last change is shown at the bottom of the page.
