Companies that pay the most in dividends

Dividends paid is the cash that actually left the company for shareholders during the year, taken from the financing section of the cash-flow statement. It is a total in dollars, not a per-share rate or a yield — a yield needs a share price, which this site does not carry. Figures are for fiscal year 2025 and are read directly from each company's SEC filings; the source column on every row links to the document.

Microsoft (MSFT) tops the list with $24.1B in dividends paid for fiscal 2025, ahead of JPMorgan Chase ($16.6B) and Apple ($15.4B). The top 10 together report $133B in dividends paid; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×2.50. 1474 SEC filers report dividends paid; the list shows the top 100. The last place on the list, Target, comes in at $2.1B.
