Companies in the United States that pay the most in dividends
Dividends paid is the cash that actually left the company for shareholders during the year, taken from the financing section of the cash-flow statement. It is a total in dollars, not a per-share rate or a yield — a yield needs a share price, which this site does not carry. Figures are for fiscal year 2025 and are read directly from each company's SEC filings; the source column on every row links to the document.
Microsoft (MSFT) tops the list with $24.1B in dividends paid for fiscal 2025, ahead of JPMorgan Chase ($16.6B) and Apple ($15.4B). The top 10 together report $133B in dividends paid; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×2.50. 1233 companies in the United States report dividends paid, 83.6% of the 1474-filer universe. The last place on the list, Paychex, comes in at $1.6B.
