Consumer discretionary companies that pay the most in dividends

Dividends paid is the cash that actually left the company for shareholders during the year, taken from the financing section of the cash-flow statement. It is a total in dollars, not a per-share rate or a yield — a yield needs a share price, which this site does not carry. Figures are for fiscal year 2025 and are read directly from each company's SEC filings; the source column on every row links to the document.

Home Depot (HD) tops the list with $9.2B in dividends paid for fiscal 2025, ahead of Walmart ($7.5B) and McDonald's ($5.1B). The top 10 together report $39.1B in dividends paid; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×4.46. 182 companies in Consumer discretionary report dividends paid, 12.3% of the 1474-filer universe. The last place on the list, Choice Hotels International, comes in at $53.5M.
