Shareholders' equity is what remains after subtracting liabilities from assets — the accounting book value of the company, not its market value. Figures are for fiscal year 2025 and are read directly from each company's SEC filings; the source column on every row links to the document.

The top 10 together report $376B in shareholders' equity; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×1.90. 92 companies in Utilities report shareholders' equity, 3.5% of the 2599-filer universe. The last place on the list, Quest Resource, comes in at $40.5M.
