Largest companies in the United States by gross profit
Gross profit is revenue minus the direct cost of goods and services sold. Not every company reports it; those that do not are absent from this ranking. Figures are for fiscal year 2025 and are read directly from each company's SEC filings; the source column on every row links to the document.
Apple (AAPL) tops the list with $195B in gross profit for fiscal 2025, ahead of Microsoft ($194B) and NVIDIA ($153B). The top 10 together report $864B in gross profit; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×6.05. 1258 companies in the United States report gross profit, 82.5% of the 1524-filer universe. The last place on the list, LKQ, comes in at $5.3B.
