Ranks 1–100 of 172 · Fiscal year 2025 · Data as of September 25, 2026

For banks and brokers, cash and equivalents includes reserves held at central banks and balances funded by customer deposits. It is cash on the balance sheet, but it is not a corporate cash reserve in the sense an industrial company's is — the two are not comparable, even though both are reported under the same line.

BHP Group (BHP) tops the list with $9.6B in cash for fiscal 2025, ahead of Rio Tinto ($8.9B) and Newmont ($7.6B). The top 10 together report $62.9B in cash; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×2.51. 172 companies in Materials report cash, 6.1% of the 2832-filer universe. The last place on the list, Rex American Resources, comes in at $189M.
